Best in Gypsy!

Princess Lara does it again! This time she decorated and DJ'd the Best in Gypsy event.  The Cops & Robbers event that was scheduled was cancelled so she stepped up and created this awesome platform in under an hour!  She included some terrific old songs that had us reminiscing including this song for Freya :).  After the event we sat around the fire and just chilled. It was wonderful!

MABON!!

Happy Fall Ya'll!   Blessings for an Autumn Equinox!   Merry Mabon!   

The first day of Autumn was September 23 in the Northern Hemisphere this year and Divine celebrated with a lovely Mabon ritual.  First we danced and rang in the glorious new season with rock songs provided by Princess Lola who DJ'd the event.

We concluded the celebration with a Mabon ritual recited by Lady Kumani who hosted the event.  A circle was cast, quarters were called by Zee, Lola, Laini and Freya. Kumani and Freya then recited the rest of the ritual as Goddess and God, respectively.  The circle was opened once again and we all felt the energy, love, and light it provided.  Special thanks to our friends from Ventrue Coven who came to help us celebrate. 





Meet the Royals- Prince and Princess Group

Our clan is blessed with some awesome members.  The Prince and Princess group have worked long and hard to achieve their position within the clan.  Their expertise puts them in a managerial type position being in charge of some of the other groups or duties.  If you see them on lands, say hello, add to friends! They are here to help!

Prince Lei Jigsaw

Lei joined the clan back in January of 2009 in its early beginnings. He is in charge of the Counts and Countesses group. Lei is also a very popular DJ within SL with a huge fanbase.

Princess Audrey Rascon

Audrey joined the clan in August 2009.  A dynamic player always willing to help.  She is highly knowledgeable in Bloodlines.  She also plays Bloodlines WAR as a master pylon thief! Previously in charge of the Duke and Duchess group, she now runs the Counselors group.

Prince Tar Garnburg

Tar joined Divine in August of 2009 as well.  He left briefly to run his own clan but is back once again.  Tar is in charge of the Role Play group as well as the Baron and Baroness group.  Tar also created and maintains the Royal Gallery in front of the castle.

Princess Lola Laroway

Lola joined Divine in November of 2009. As owner and designer of LL Creations, she has a very full Second Life! She is also a DJ and in charge of the Lords and Ladies group which hosts our daily events.  She has a masters degree in Psychology and is a Counselor for the clan as well!

Princess Valerie Firethorn

Val joined Divine in August of 2010.  She has tremendous skill as a hunter and maintains a huge line in the game.  She is fiercely loyal to Divine and often demonstrates that fact much to the chagrin of other clans.  She is in charge of the Duke and Duchess group.

Princess Lara Darkbyrd

Lara joined Divine in April of 2010.  An accomplished designer of her skin and clothing line, Mystic Canvass, and blogmaster.   Our resident Fembot is also a DJ and a previous counselor for the clan.  She helps the L&L with platform setup for their events. She is in charge of land rentals and fundraisers for the clan.

Paranormal Sunday 9-18-11

This week's theme was Dreams. A fascinating discussion on why we have them, theories about them, time travel and Deja vu's, and how to interpret them. Kumani does an extremely thorough job each week in her research to help educate, inform and enlighten those who attend. This special event is held each Sunday from 10AM - Noon SLT. Come join the regulars!

PROM!!!

I know this is hella late but I was waiting for some info. Ah well.  Lusty held this event  twice to accomodate the worldly time schedules of our various members.  DJ'd once by Reagan and once by Lola, this romantic event brought back some really fun memories.  Lusty had some photo balls set up as well for the lovely couples.  These pictures are from both events.

Best in Dragon Event

This event was a while back with Sky hosting and Raven as the DJ.  I remember I found a cool makeout spot hidden inside the water fountain.  Lara decorated the joint with the most badass stuff! Loved the dragon's blood dripping flowers the most.  AS  for the pictures, well... there's some dude, some other dude, some chick dancing, a dragon, dragonslayer, and KT is in there somewhere. ahahaha. Was very cool as I remember!

Star Wars? Heck yes!

Lady Airlia hosted this fun event with Princess Lara DJing. We couldn't resist being a little nerdy quoting the movie and reminiscing.  That is what is so great about our events! They allow you to immerse a different side of yourself each time. Even if it's not your "thing", it's a blast trying out something new.

Starry Night

Lady Kumani held this incredible event a few Fridays back.  She took her idea of Van Gogh's famous painting to Duchess Lola. Lola took that concept one step further and created a platform allowing us to be inside the painting. It was awe inspiring!

Best in Mini

Mini avatars, mini skirts, mini people! It was all about "let's get small". Lola DJ'd this one on the rooftop with Freya hosting for Laini.  Suze was the smallest and took away the big prize of $L1000!

Yeah, we knew ya'll were weird.  Good thing SL has plenty of weird AV's to choose from to let that side of you shine.  This recent event showed off your less than normal side. haha!

Griff hosted this fun and different Spooky Stories event. I am loving all the interesting new things the Lords and Ladies are offering lately. Very cool!

Promotions and Coronation Ceremony

Our recent coronation ceremony for our new Queen Daisy also included many other royal promotions. First up were the newly appointed Lords and Ladies:

Our two new princesses are Lola Laroway who will be heading up the L&L group and Valerie Firethorn who will take over the D&D group for Freyasmoon Fenwitch.

Speaking of Freya, she has been appointed Crown Princess taking over the role for our newly crowned queen.

And our newly coronated, Queen Daisy. Long live the Queen!

And though not a royal, Wildwindfire has been appointed one of the counselors.

Please give everyone a hearty congrats if you see them. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to do these jobs.

Coronation Ceremony

Please join us tonight at 9:30PM SLT to clelebrate  the coronation of our new queen, Daisy Baily.* Royal promotions will also be given at this time with a ball following the festivities.

 For those who would still like to be considered to become a Lord or Lady, Duke Christophe will be teaching all three mentor classes today. Royal exam given as well. There is still time so get it done in time for this evening!

*For those who do not know- our Queen Amethyst is stepping down for more time with her family. She is NOT leaving the clan.

Str and Daisy's Wedding

Daisy and Str's wedding was held in a beautiful sim filled with daisies, loved ones, and much happiness.  Standing for Daisy were Ravensong, Freyasmoon, Skylah and Tagthis.  Standing for Str were  Tar, Rikk, CJ, and Zoie.  Congrats to the newlyweds!!

Hen Party #1!

Daisy had not one, but two hen parties (aka Bachelorette parties) before her wedding to Str! The first one she could not attend due to internet issues. Those are the photos posted here. Sadly I missed the second one but I can imagine the debauchery!!! Male strippers? YES PLEASE!!

Best in Neko!

Lord Griff hosted a Best in Neko event on the castle roof recently. With awesome DJ Duke Cuda spinning the tunes it was an awesome party.  We commented how it was a flashback to 2009 with those of us old Divine members Lola, Cuda, Freya and others wearing tails and dancing on the castle roof.  Wildwindfire won the contest with her naughty tail and pasties.

Paranormal Sundays!

Real life has been crazy for me lately but I did manage to attend one event on Sunday.  Lady Kumani hosted the first of her on-going Paranormal Sunday events.  This past week the topic was Auras and Chakras.  She did an AMAZING job teaching us all about colors, meanings, how to cleanse our chakras, how to read auras, etc. Just a wealth of information! Her event is open to believers and those wanting to learn more.  She just asks that you be respectful of others. Questions are encouraged!

 For those that don't know, Kumani has dedicated her adult life to educating herself on the occult and paranormal.  She is highly knowledgeable and a great resource for those wanting to know more on these subjects. 

The other new Lords and Ladies are also hosting fantastic events and I hope to attend some of them very soon and share them with you!

Promotion Ceremony

On Sunday, August 13, Crown Princess Daisy and Crown PRince Jerod hosted the latest royals promotion ceremony. It was a light hearted event with a fantastic crowd of our members.

Duchess Raven started out the ceremony announcing the newest royals, the Lords and Ladies.

Congrats to Kat Gracemount, Griffith Nightfire, MissCea Resident, Airlia Resident, Everythingblacklam2911 Resident, and Kumani Wylder for completing the three mentor classes, passing the royals exam, helping other members, and being active in the clan.

Next up was Rubicscube Resident promoted to the position of Countess (shown above).  Christabellouise "Skylah" Resident was promoted to the position of Baroness but was absent for the ceremony.

Christophe Stratten was promoted to Duke.

Two long time members, Tar and Lara, were promoted to the Prince and Princess group.  Lara Darkbyrd was busy RL and missed the ceremony.  Tar had trouble rezzing and now has the nickname the naked prince.

Congrats again to all those who were promoted.

Weddings!

August is definitely a month for weddings at Divine. I've seen five on the schedule so far! If you plan on tying the knot soon, please contact Crown Princess Daisy for one of her phenomenal wedding or handfasting packages. All proceeds go towards land tiers. :-)

Whatta Weekend!!

Wipe your to do list clean and get on SL for a fun-filled weekend!!Starting tonight at 6PM SLT we have the incredible Lord of the Rings event!

 On Saturday we have the oh so naughty Cock Idol contest @ 2PM, a special rez day party @ 4PM, another special clan member event @ 7PM, with two classes taught by Baron Chris in the morning.

 Sunday will be the awe inspiring Steampunk event @ 2PM.

Queen of the Damned Event

Hosted by Countess Skylah and DJ'd by Duchess Raven, this fantastic vampire event was based on the incredible Queen of the Damned movie.  Awesome tunes from the soundtrack set the mood as we all discussed our favorite parts of the movie.

VEGA$ EVENT

Organized by Duchess Raven and Crown Princess Daisy, this clan fundraiser had tons of volunteers and lasted from 1PM - 8PM SLT. Starting out with the Showgirls, followed by a two hour Cher (Kumani)concert, a two hour Dolly Parton (Everythingblacklam) concert, a two hour Elvis (Kendall) concert, the Spice Girls (Daisy, Kumani, Lola, Laini, Leggzz) in concert, a strip off males (Chris and Kendall) vs.  females (Freya and Everythingblacklam), a naked mud wrestling quickie (Daisy vs. Freya), Tom Jones (Druss) concert, and a Showgirls (Freya, Kumani, Lola, Rubicscube, Laini, Amethyst, Tagthis) finale!

Best in Fairytale

Hosted by Lady Rubicscube, decorated and DJ'd by Duchess Lara, this Best in Fairytale was definitely magical!
