Happy New Year!

I have so many things to post about today I just can't decide which to do first.  Daisy's Rez Day celebration ...  The new Bloodlines products I tested... Anne is back... There are the turnings from December waiting to be blogged...

But since it is the New Year and we all spent most of the evening celebrating each time zone together, cheering each other on, sending our love through the internet- hugs, kisses, well wishes and gratitude. From Kiwis Druss and Ame in New Zealand; Vitamin in Asia; Daisy in England; our Russian navy man, Gokhan sending his well wishes in an email  from out at sea; Starlight in Canada; and all the Americans from Bfortytwo on the East Coast to Skye on the West Coast and all the ones in between. The Dark Ages

This medieval Renaissance event had a dark theme with rats, torture devices, knights, black plague, and maidens in distress.  Lara and Cari did a great job decorating and setting up this awesome platform. This event had a great turn out! Satara won this event and added them back into the sploder for everyone to enjoy.  Tips from the event went to the land tiers.

Gothic Lolita

The awesome team of Cari and Lara held this dark and sexy Gothic Lolita event.  Here are some pictures from this very cool setup:

Arabian Nights

Lady Tuffie held her first event in December with DJ Irish spinning the tunes.  This fantastic desert oasis platform was the location of her Arabian Nights event.  Lord Kane and Duchess Freya tied in this event.

Great job Tuffie!! Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Christmas Sweets

Inspired by a Gingerberad house, Baroness Cari created this Christmas Sweets event.  DJ Irish played  an awesome mix of modern Christmas music and regular jams. Lady Lara was the winner of the prize money with her very cool blue hair and crown.

Nightmare Before Christmas

Lady Lara hosted and DJ'd this event. She dressed as Sally, her man Dante, dressed as Jack Skellington.  Everyone had a great time getting in the mood for the holiday.  Dante won the Best in Nightmare Before Christmas prize.

New Bloodlines Products

Bloodlines has seven new items for sale.

1. Cider Barrels: Humans can drink cider to restore their humanity. A great way to attract friendly humans.
2. Cider Refill Jugs: 5L refills to fill Cider Barrels with.
3. Cider Siphons: transfer cider between barrels quickly.
4. The Human HUD: registers you for the Bloodlines system with a Human Blood Type, allows you to drink from Cider Barrels, allows you to offer blood and lumens to vampires and lycans, and gives you the new human profile.
5. Blood Vials: transferable vials that you can bleed into and give to friends to wear around their neck. The vial displays whose blood it is in world and on your profile, so you can collect and trade a little piece of your friends (or your enemies)!
6. Lumen Vials: just like Blood Vials, but for Lumens.
7. The Insignia: this is a recruitment system for clan leaders. You can set up a server with a texture and a notecard, and it comes with a copy/transfer badge that will display your clan Insignia and vend a notecard with information about your clan when worn.

Jerod's Rez Day

Jerod celebrated his Rez Day by being removed from the clan group for the day so he couldn't see any of the notices going out.  He was then added back right before he logged in. He was none the wiser.  Colts jerseys were given to everyone to wear since that would aggravate him the most. Ha! He wore his beloved Cowboys jersey. He then enjoyed Druss jumping out of his rez day cake and giving him an awesome striptease lapdance. He then traded teams and sent Daisy this IM:

Drank's Punishment

Freya and HeavenlyAngel had the same idea when it came to punishments this month. As Heavenly made King Darrell wear a maid costume, Freya took it one step further with Drank.  He had to scrub the landing spot.  His punishment only lasted 10 minutes however.  Here are some images from that memorable task:
