I have created a Divine Blood website that includes our history, our members, what Bloodlines is about, frequently asked questions, and basic information for new or potential members.  It might be useful while hunting! Here is the link:

Blood Doll Appreciation!!

Lara, clan royal and member extraordinaire, hosted and DJ'd a recent Blood Doll appreciation event on top of the castle. She loaded a prize giver with apples so we could bite and enjoy our lovely dolls.  Some greedy hoar rigged it and got all the apples! Good thing she was nice enough to give them all back. Lara then gave each person in attendance an apple. Awwww!

Bloodlines Product: Blood Scanner

The Scanner comes in a modern looking version (tank style) and the medieval version (cask style).  Both do the same job, just a matter of preference. I chose the medieval (cask style) looking one:

The Blood Scan is a web-based clan management system for The Thirst: Bloodlines. It allows you to quickly view the stats of your minions, gives you a graph of your total soul history, and will show you a history of minion liege changes. In addition, if your minions own the Blood Scan, you can view their sub-minions as well. It also includes instant checking if any of your minions are in danger from tonight's Curse, and you can set 4 alarms that will check at intervals throughout the day and send you an IM letting you know which of your minions are in danger. We think this is an essential clan management tool that will help you compete in the vampire wars!

Setup

To use your Scanner, just rez it on your land, and touch it for the main menu.

Menu

There are 3 menu options:

1. Password
   This menu option allows you to change your password to whatever you want, or to a randomly generated password. Passwords should be at least 6 characters long.
2. Alarm
   The alarm option allows you to choose from 4 alarms. Each alarm can be turned on or off, and can be set for a specific time. In order for an alarm to fire, the alarm time must be chosen, and the alarm must be turned on. When you are selecting the alarm time, it is in number of hours before Second Life midnight. So, if you select 1, the alarm will fire every night at 11:00pm sl time. If you select 12, it will fire at noon, and if you select 23, the alarm will fire at 1am. Second Life time is PST (GMT+8) or PDT (GMT+7) depending on daylight savings time.
   When the alarm fires, it will send you an Instant Message. If you have your instant messages set to forward to your email, then you will get the alarm text in your email. To forward your IMs to email, go to Edit > Preferences > Communication > Send IM to email.
3. Minions
   This option will immediately check to see if any of your minions are in danger of being destroyed by the Curse and let you know.

What it doesn't do- it doesn't alert you to minions that are already destroyed.  It also doesn't tell you to ban those drama causing minions. ;-)~ .

Carnival!

Ravensong hosted for an amazing 6 hours on Saturday and another 6 hours on Sunday for her over the top Carnival event.  Multiple DJ's, volunteers, and an outpouring of lindens for land tiers made this something for the record books.  Words cannot express enough gratitude to her and everyone that contributed.

Second Life Hunts

If you are in the mood to hunt for eggs, skulls, diamonds, or anything else for that matter- there are tons of hunts going on in Second Life right now! Most hunts are free and you get a variety of goodies! A bunch of us were doing the Wicked Hunt this past week.

For a list of the current hunts check out this site.  On the left hand side are the current hunts listed.  You can then find out more about each hunt, check out individual blogs for hints.  Go by yourself or with a friend!  Don't forget the carnival is still going on today if you missed it yesterday!!

CARNIVAL, BIG TOP and DANCING!!

This Saturday and Sunday, (April 23 and 24) from 2pm-8pm each day,  Raven is hosting a mind blowing, epic Carnival that takes up TWO platforms! You have to see it to believe it! Tightrope walkers, fire breathers,caged tigers, elephants, dunk booth, rides, kissing booth, and more!! Come have an awesome time

and raise money for land tiers!

 

More volunteers are needed for the dunk booth!

Best in Hump

Lola in all her big bellied awesomeness held a Best in Hump event at the landing spot. We shook and shimmied but surprisingly no one humped. Hmm...

The winner of the night was Jayden Coba wearing her Dippin Dots dress and Kumani heels created by Lola!

Back to the 80's

Like, oh my gawd! Raven held this totally tripendicular event where we all dressed like the 80's again.  Lara got out her cassettes and 45's so we could do the Smurf, the Freak, and the Funky Alien.  It was like a giant hair convention!  There were five winners that split the $L500 prize- Vixon, Rick, Freya, Phayte and remind me?!.

Down the Rabbit Hole

Now there's not a lot I remember about this event. I would think it was a crazy dream if not for the photos.   Hosted by f'n hawt Raven, DJ'd by Lara, decorated in awesome totally trippy Alice in Wonderland theme.  Three people won the prize including Lola as a  preggers Rabbit.

The Man and The Legend

During Raven's Rave party on the castle roof, Phayte reminded us all he is the man and the legend.  His shirt says so! He won the event- a fun party with lots of light throbbing, seizure enducing clothing.

Oh Ame, we know what you've been up to! Who could possible resist that fine ass of yours?!

 Drip drip dripping away at the landing spot even after you put your pants back on.  Lola's cum bucket couldn't catch it all so be careful where you step!

Adult Swim @ Naughty Pool

Always naughty Mylia "Lusty" held an adult swim party at the naughty pool.  Lola had an incredible mix of songs for us and it made for a fantastic time.  Thorne wore nothing but a cookie so we each took turns nibbling away at it. 

Best in Religion Event

The Crown Princess has spoken! Daisy hosted an impromptu Best in Religion event on Sunday. Whatever your religion or choice of worship was welcome at the top of the castle dance party.  Lola stepped up as a pregnant Catholic school girl to DJ the event.  We had pagans, nuns, monks, padres, and Otis in his  Sunday worship attire- Nascar!

Hotter than Hell

Devils, Demons, and all things evil came out to this packed Hotter Than Hell event hosted by Lola.  Her dearest hubby Cuda was spinning the tunes all night for us.  Wings, horns, cloven hooves, and dark skins were prevalent everywhere you looked.

Jimmy was being a dork again and was rightly served up his punishment.  First HeavenlyAngel whipped him..

P.S. This in no way reinforces the rumor that Divine Blood keeps its Blood Dolls as sex slaves. If that was the case Daisy and Freya would drink the Nightshade and Wolfsbane immediately!!!

Fundraiser for ChristChurch, NZ

Recently some of our kiwi members held a fundraiser for their countrymen in ChristChurch, NZ who were victims of several earthquakes.  Thanks to Gorelul and Amethyst, they raised $L4096 for the recovery efforts there.

Come As You Aren't

Lady Milena held an event on top of the castle with a twist to the Come As You Are theme.  This time around it was Come As You Aren't.  Apparently the majority of us aren't blondes that wear white.  DJ Lola certainly isn't an angel with those babies in her belly either!

 Lusty pulled out a wild card and wore PINK.

But the big winner of the night (and I do mean BIG) was our very own super awesome counselor, Kumani!!! Gifted with the best set of tits in the game, she certainly isn't this devilish blue haired beast!!

The Blood Vial

The Blood Vial is a transferable vial that holds 0.25L of your blood. The Bloodlines system will track whose blood is in the vial, so you can give your blood as a gift, or collect and trade the blood of other vampires. You can wear it around your neck, and floating text will indicate whose blood it is, and anyone who clicks on the blood vial will get an instant message telling them whose blood is contained in the vial. In addition, a list on everyone's profile will show all of the lumen vials you've collected, and who the lumens belong to.

USING YOUR BLOOD VIAL

To wear your Blood Vial, right-click it in your inventory and select 'wear'. By default, it will attach to your chest. If you choose a different attach point, you will have to adjust the rotation and position of the vial. You can use the included pose stand to hold yourself still while you do this.
To use your Blood Vial, left-click it or "touch" it once you've worn it. You will be given a menu with the following options:

1. Check: tells you if the vial is full or empty, and if full, whose blood it is.
2. Text: toggles the floating text over the vial on or off if the vial is full.
3. Fill: bleed 0.25L of your vital blood into the vial.
4. Drink: drink the contents of the vial.
5. History: tells you the names of the last 25 owners of the vial.

The vial permissions are set to mod / transfer / no copy.

Vampire & Lycan Ball

Tuesday night Lady Lorielle held an incredible ball for the vamps and lycans (and blood dolls too!) She made a totally badass stage for the three highest royals to sit and gaze upon us all.  She also had spikes for us to impale ourselves and chill. Did you try her dances balls?! F***ing HOT!  DJ Baroness Lara brought her trivia ball for those of us who are competitive. (WTF is the answer to that Seven Dwarves question anyway?) She also had an incredibly diverse playlist for us to enjoy.  From Combichrist to The Doors to Ke$ha there is always something for everyone! If I didn't get your picture- I'm sorry.
