Blood Doll Appreciation Event

We love our Blood Dolls at Divine Blood! Without them we couldn't survive!! They are an important part of our game.  They supply us with blood or lumens so we can feed.  In honor of them, Baroness Rubi and Princess Lara held a fun event with a dark dolly theme. The prize was split with a 4-way tie.

Blood Doll Appreciation!!

Lara, clan royal and member extraordinaire, hosted and DJ'd a recent Blood Doll appreciation event on top of the castle. She loaded a prize giver with apples so we could bite and enjoy our lovely dolls.  Some greedy hoar rigged it and got all the apples! Good thing she was nice enough to give them all back. Lara then gave each person in attendance an apple. Awwww!

Bite Fest!!!

Countess Leggzz recently held a very popular bite fest at the arena.  With apples, cider, and plenty of willing blood angels to be bitten who could go wrong? We soon also brought out our new bites to try on each other as well. Not to be left out, the lycans also enjoyed clawing for some lumens as well. Baroness Lara offered up her tanks for bidding for land tiers as well because damnit, she just rocks. Here are some of the various images from the event:

Dearest Dolly

A Blood Doll Appreciation event was held in honor of all our fantastic blood angels and blood dolls. Regardless of the term you use, they are our reason for survival.  Thanks to all those that offer their sweet blood and lumens to those of us who have embraced the dark side so we may continue on.  Queen Amethyst set up a prize box with apples distributed every 10 minutes during the event.   Thanks to Lady Lara and her decorating crew for the wonderful ambiance they created.  Thanks to DJ Nikki for the awesome tunes.

Bloodlines Apples

Don't forget to feed those lovely blood dolls some apples to restore their humanity!  You can visit either the Thirst Orchard or the Rage Orchard to pick some on your own or with a friend.  Here is how it's done:

Bloodlines: The Apple

 The Bloodlines Apple was created so that humans could regenerate blood, for vampires to then feed on.
You may purchase as many apples as you like, eat until full (100% humanity) and then save some for later, they are enchanted to stay fresh forever.

TO PURCHASE AN APPLE:

1. Left-click any Apple Tree you see; an apple should fall to the ground.
2. Right-click the apple on the ground and choose "Buy". You will purchase the apple.
3. Right-click the apple on the ground and choose "Take". This will put the apple into your Objects folder in your inventory.

Any apples left on the ground around the tree, unpurchased, will disappear within 5 minutes of rezzing - however once you right-click and "buy", the apple will rest for 2 minutes before being auto-returned to you by our sim.

TO OPERATE APPLE:

1. Right-click the Apple in your inventory, and choose "Wear".
2. Once you see the apple in your hand, you can left-click it to access the blue menu.
3. Choose "Eat Now" or "Eat Later". Once you eat it, you will regain .25 Liters of Human Blood.

The apple will disappear after you've eaten it.

Spotlight On: HeartofanAngel Avril

A celebration today in honor of one of our long time loyal Blood Dolls, HeartofanAngel. Heart joined our clan when she was turned in January. Her quiet demeanor and elegant manner always befitting a lady. She is the epitome of all things exquisite, opulent, refined, chic, and classic. A rare selfless woman that asks only to help others. This kind, giving manner makes her an excellent Blood Angel.  She will soon be a sister-in-law to her best friend, HeavenlyAngel, when she marries Manly Lighthouse.  Congrats to them both!

Blood Dolls:Their Role in Bloodlines

Blood dolls play an essential role in the Bloodlines game. It is their selfless act that enables us to continue to play.  As vampires or lycans we suffer a curse each night at midnight SLT which drains our blood or lumens. Blood dolls provide the life sustaining food we need to survive. Some players call their blood dolls "blood angels" for their acts of charity for us. In order to remain human blood dolls need to eat special Bloodlines apples. Each apple provides 5% humanity. They can be purchased at the Bloodlines orchards for L$14 or at the clan lands for L$16. If you are a blood doll please ask your liege before you allow anyone else to bite you. There are lots of predator vamps out there looking for a free meal. Spotlight On: Jhoram Torvalar

Jhoram joined SL in January 2009 and was a veteran player by the time he joined Bloodlines in December 2009.  Despite his hard exterior this blood doll biker know for his "Fuck" t-shirt collection,  naughty chat regular is no rebel rouser- at least not on our sim. haha! "J" is a favorite dance partner of the Divine women, a calming presence with a hug or a listening ear, and has a fabulous music collection. A self proclaimed blood bag to the queen has a great sense of humor and even strips on occasion. He's not a very good surfer but will cruise along with you on an inner tube with beer in hand or give you advice on your lingerie. I'm honored to know him and call him friend. An asset to the Divine Blood clan in every sense of the word. A big Harrrooooooooooo to you, hillbilly J.

Spotlight on: Starlight Somerset

Within the clan we have some notable names- the king, queen, royals, knights, and members with hundreds of minions. It takes all of us to work to make our family the success that it is. Within the vast seemingly endless names one stands out the most to me- Starlight Somerset. She is a beacon of light to each and every member. Always greeting all of us with a smile and a hug every day.   She does this tirelessly and selflessly. Helping countless new members without a second thought. This sweet blood doll  joined SL in November 2009 and then our clan about a month later. I remember when she arrived in her bright pink jumpsuit and all she wanted to know was how to dance. She still loves to dance. With her infectious smile and pet penguin,  Buddy always on her shoulder you can't help but be drawn to her.  You know you will have a friend to the end with Starlight! Her profile is a reflection of her to a "T" :
