Meet And Greet

Our beloved clan, Divine Blood, is continually growing and adding new members. To help them feel welcome and meet some of the family, our royals host Meet and Greet events. Usually held at the Landing Spot, we dance, chat, and add new members to our friends list.  Though we always introduce new members in clan chat, greet them, make them feel welcome there- it's nice to meet "in person". 

Surprise Meet and Greet Event

Duchess Rubi hosted the surprise Meet and Greet at the orgy platform with DJ Lord Alex providing the music.  There were quite a few surprises for sure!  Rubi brought along her animal friend, Alex dressed as Jabba the Hut, Christophe and Eve were oh so naughty priest and nun. The biggest surprise of all was Freya packing a penis in her panties!  Vandal and Rose brought a friend along, Ana, who loved it so much she joined the clan!

How You Can Help the New Members

We've all been there- a new member to the clan.  Sometimes we have switched clans, sometimes we are new to Bloodlines, and more often than not, we are new to SL as well. Usually the new members are at the landing spot hanging out, getting a feel for their new family, trying to make friends.  Now it isn't always easy friending a new person. Heaven knows I get headaches from the flashing bling and Ruth AV's.

But reaching out and simply saying hello, welcome to the clan, or offering a friendship request can do a world of good for a person. Remember we are real people behind these pixelated avatars. It's easy to stay within our cliques or small groups of friends. But if I had done that- I'd never have met the awesome Lara Darkbyrd and scores of other people! When I first joined I hid behind a tree for six weeks after reaching out to people and being totally ignored. And frankly, that fucking sucked.

Lord Badger is having a Meet n Greet at the landing spot on Thursday from 2-4pm SLT.  Please come dance, party, and show some kindness to the new members. Don't forget to send out friend requests!

Meet & Greet 2-16-11

Thank you to Duke Tar and DJ Knight Cuda for the Meet & Greet Event held at the landing spot recently.  So many new people have joined recently! In fact, we are back up to #8 on Bloodlines! It was nice seeing old friends and new, hanging out, and being our usual silly selves. 

Meet & Greet 11-24-10

The first of three events today was the Meet and Greet hosted by birthday girl Lady Luna at the landing spot.  Her liege, DJ Kane supplied the tunes.  Later he and Venus hosted Luna's surprise RL birthday party event. 

Meet and Greet and.....

This past Sunday brought about some small changes for the Lords and Ladies and several clan events.   Lord Kane held  Meet and Greet for new members on the beach.  This is always a popular event and helps us all to get to know each other, a bit of a family reunion of new and older members alike. 

We lingered on the beach for a while afterward.  Prince Pad had been announced earlier that day as a new helper to the Lords and Ladies group.  He decided to hold an impromptu event of Best in Country with $L500 on the board.  We danced to the music stream on lands and had a great time.  Just hanging out is often the best, most fun events of all.

Meet & Greet

On Friday afternoon Lady HeavenlyAngel hosted a Meet and Greet the family event on the beach. New and veteran members alike came to make new friends, get to know each other, and share some cake. We exchanged friendship requests, danced to DJ Knight Sun, teased each other like family always does, and had a bit of a family reunion with Travis SpiritWeaver rejoining us after a break from SL.
