Come As You Are 1-10-11

Thanks to Ekaterina, we have a great new club for the lands.  Lady Skye held a Come as you Are event there recently with DJ Cuda playing the awesome music. There was a huge turnout including lots of new members.  Gracie won this event with her giant "UR" costume. It was, come as "you are" afterall...

Garth Brooks Concert

HeavenlyAngel hosted her monthly concert on Friday.  This time country singing sensation (no, not Prince Pad) Garth Brooks was here to entertain us along with his band and Tricia Yearwood. 

Divine Blood- Looking back at 2010

As we approach our second anniversary as a clan, let's look back to see how far we have come in the past year:

We moved four times in three months! The beginning of the year had us bouncing from Daligdig Island to Crown Island to Divine Blood Land and finally to Divine Blood Island in March.  To imagine Daisy terraformed and built all those lands (with a bit of help)! Our ongoing monthly auction and fundraisers help us to pay our land tiers so we never have to move again.

We taught classes on all aspects of Bloodlines and our clan philosophy.  We partied.  We know how to party! We congratulated each other on promotions and on reaching a new level in Bloodlines. (As a clan we even reached #3 at one point!) We joined Bloodlines WAR and created our own army. More than once. We helped each other with turnings, new members, hunting, and meeting the challenges of growing and expanding our lines. Did I mention we also bit each other? A lot?

Druss & Ame's Wedding

We have celebrated weddings, turnings, holidays, births, joys and triumphs together.  We have empathized, hugged, cried and grieved together.  We have watched as SL couples meet and become real life couples. We grew and supported each other along the way just as a family does.   We cheered as the drama queens left and took their bacon with them.

With each passing season our bonds deepen, our friendships strengthen, and our clan just keeps on growing and thriving stronger for having been through the ebb and flow of it all.   Thanks to our wonderful clan members that make Divine the kick ass clan that it is. Special thanks to King Darrell, Queen Amethyst, and Crown Princess Daisy for all you do and continue to do for all of us.

Best in Silks

Lord Kane hosted and DJ Lady Luna was spinning the tunes on Saturday night with a Best in Silks event.  Kane was emoting the hell out of the place with each tip. So much so that he inspired Lady Tuffie to hold a best in emote contest! Can't wait for that one!!!

Choosing his display name to Amethyst Warden, Ame decided he should change his avatar to look like her as well- down to the shiny light up butt plug.  Does it count as masturbation if you play with your lookalike on SL?

Saint Phayte

Phayte claims to be a Saint. Recently, however, he came to the landing spot flashing his wares for all to see. (Actually he was wearing a belt and shoes).  All crosshairs were on him as we tried to perv as much as possible before he relogged and fixed his appearance.  I have added the oversized banana hammock happy face as a suggestion of what he "might" bring to the party despite his Ken doll facade.

Porn Event

Gotta love the naughty events at Divine!! Lady Skye held the Porn Event at our adults only naughty pool recently.  With DJ Ty spinning the tunes for us all to enjoy and dance.  The area was decorated with vintage porn movie posters, phallic symbols, and event some porn video clips set on repeat. Leigh and Lusty tied to win this event.

The Lost City of Atlantis

The second event in two days hosted and DJ'd by Lady Lara is the Lost City of Atlantis.  The versatile costumes worn to this event were Greeks, mermaids, mermen, sea creatures, deep sea divers,and sharks.  I guess Spongebob was busy this time around.  Dante and Phayte tied to win for this event.  

I always try to capture the platform decorations in my postings.  This event was best viewed on midnight setting.  These pictures just don't do it justice. Lara is an amazing builder and artistic talent.  We are so blessed to have her in the clan.

The Funeral Parlor

We started off the new year in a dark way with the Funeral Parlor Event.  Lady Lara did double duty acting as Hostess and DJ for the event.  This event brought out the goths, the always popular zombies, the zombie hunters, the dead and undead, and even a flesh eating giant stuffed pink bunny.

Magnus won the event with his freshly rotting corpse avatar.  I personally loved Chrystal's giant bloody chainsaw.  It's always a great time at Divine!!

The Human HUD

SL Bloodlines has come out with several new items geared toward humans.  I purchased the new Human HUD on my alt to check it out.  This is what I found:

The Human HUD sells for $L599 same as the other Bloodlines HUDs.  It is sold in a separate human area of Liquid East. 

The other Human products are all in the human area as well.

First Button: 

The First button allows you to set your bite marks to fresh, trickle, scabbing, or scar. It also sets your claw wounds to fresh, scabbing, or scar.

Second Button:

The second button allows you to set your wounds to a tattoo image instead if you prefer.

Third Button:

The third button is Enthrall. This makes your avatar follow another avatar, so you can role play that you are glamored by them and must obey them.

The fourth button (moon)  allows you to offer lumens to another player.

The fifth button (blood drop) allows you to offer blood to another player.

This HUD allows those players that want to remain human in the Bloodlines game.  However, if they decide to embrace the dark side, they must purchase the Thirst or Rage HUD. 

You can drain those players wearing the Human HUD completely of all humanity without them going revenant.

My personal opinion (not that of my clan or anyone else) is this: I feel it is a waste of lindens.  It is silly to have to put out another $L599 for another HUD if they want to turn.  New Blood Dolls will likely offer their humanity using this HUD without realizing they are a free meal.  They'll think it's their job to give up blood or lumens. If you're gonna follow someone, just get a collar. The tattoo/scar options are not enough for me to put out that kind of cash again. I guess if someone wants to remain a Blood Doll and have control of who bites/claws them they can always decline the animation offer from that player.  They don't need to offer it. Daisy's Rez Day Celebration

Crown Princess Daisy celebrated her second rez day with a birthday suit themed party at the naughty pool.
