Blood Dolls:Their Role in Bloodlines

Blood dolls play an essential role in the Bloodlines game. It is their selfless act that enables us to continue to play.  As vampires or lycans we suffer a curse each night at midnight SLT which drains our blood or lumens. Blood dolls provide the life sustaining food we need to survive. Some players call their blood dolls "blood angels" for their acts of charity for us. In order to remain human blood dolls need to eat special Bloodlines apples. Each apple provides 5% humanity. They can be purchased at the Bloodlines orchards for L$14 or at the clan lands for L$16. If you are a blood doll please ask your liege before you allow anyone else to bite you. There are lots of predator vamps out there looking for a free meal. Blood Dolls, their role in Divine Blood Clan and the HUD’s.


Blood Dolls is usually the first thing a Bloodlines player starts out as. They are still Human, yet have been bitten and had their soul taken by a Vampire or Lycan. Or even a Hybrid. Their primary purpose is to serve as a...well a Blood doll for their Liege. But they also can hunt for them as well. Below is what a Blood Doll can and cannot do when hunting:



Blood Dolls cannot use:

Fangs: Blood Dolls cannot wear and use Fangs as they are not a Vampire.

Claws: Blood Dolls cannot wear and use Claws as they are not a Lycan.

Smoke Screen: Blood Dolls cannot use the Smoke Screen as you have to wear the Fangs to permit this to operate. (See Fangs)

Howl: Blood Dolls are not a Lycan and cannot use this.

Superhuman Jump: Blood Dolls are not a Lycan and cannot use this.



In both The Thirst (Vampire) and The Rage (Lycan) a Blood Doll cannot bite, or claw a victim at all.



Blood Dolls can use:

Invisibility: While this is usually for Vampires, it appears to work for Blood Dolls as well.



Blood Dolls hunting:

Hunting helps the Blood Doll gain experience and knowledge about the Bloodlines game and the way of the clan. It is hoped by doing this, they will want to later turn to the Dark Side and become Embraced as a Vampire, or Enraged as a Lycan.

Before you hunt, notify your Liege your intentions and make sure they will be available when you get a victim. You may hunt just like a Vampire or Lycan can. But once you have successfully acquired a victim, notify your Liege and take your victim to him or her. Your Liege will then turn the victim into either a Blood Doll as a Vampire or Lycan  per the victim’s wishes. That determines which HUD they have to purchase.



Lastly, Please keep in mind this is a game and should be taken as such. We all wish to have fun and lots of excitement playing the Bloodlines game.
