How to Reap A Soul

It is not uncommon to trade souls in the Bloodlines game.  Some players want only their lover to hold their soul or only their liege, or someone in their current clan.  The possibilities are endless.  If it is a friendly transaction you can make an agreement with the soul holder and use reapers to trade souls instead of paying out the L$999 for an electrum potion.

To do this wear your reaper. Click on it. A drop down menu will appear.  It will scan those players within 25m of you. Choose the one you wish to reap from.  It will then ask if it is a specific soul you want. Follow the instructions and type in the name of the specific soul you wish to reap. A particle effects animation will occur as you puncture the soul holder and reap the soul.  Shown here Player 1 reaps a soul from Player 2.

Then Player 2 will click on their reaper and follow the same menu instructions. The soul being traded should be established and agreed upon before the trade is made.  Some players only want an active soul for an active soul. You do not want to get to this point to argue over which soul you are receiving.  In this case, all souls were agreed upon beforehand.

The animation occurs again as the soul is reaped from Player 1 by Player 2.  The transaction is complete. 

Maintaining good communication is essential for a soul trade.  Everyone in this case was pleased and felt satisfied with the results. 

King Darrell's 500th Birthday Celebration!

Princess Audrey held a celebration for her husband, King Darrell's 500th birthday which also happened on his rez day! We all gathered at the role play castle for a bit of mischievous fun.  . 

Baron Tar believed there to be a conspiracy of werewolves lurking in the forest. After investigating with Knight Xavian he accused Duchess Freya of conspiring to attack the castle. Duchess Freya was thrown into the stocks but eventually released by her husband the Archknight Rikk.

The accusations continued throughout the night. As Prince Pad and Prince Jerod arrived the mood lightened with talk of women's undergarments. Keith offered up his wife and blood doll, Krista for all to quench their thirst.

Countess Ivy tried to distract everyone with her gambling machine to no avail. Baron Tar persisted in his tale of conspiracy. Duchess Freya made a quick getaway before she could be put back in the stocks. (No one took advantage of her while she was there anyway).  King Darrell told Knight Xavian to put Tar in the stocks and gave the order to "Off with his Head!" to the cheers of the guests. 

Darrell's Tombstone reads: "Here Lies Darrell Mistwallow King Asshole Died of Pepsi Poisoning". Thanks to Coca Cola for donating the tombstone and the refreshments. *winks* Special thanks to Audrey, Keith, Krista and Lara for decorating the role play platform for this unusual event.

Happy Rez Day King Asshole!

Our fearless leader, King Darrell, is two years old today. Two fantastic years of Second Life adventures. Thanks to his tenacity and his perserverance our clan has been through highs and lows and continues on.  His willingness to look beyond himself, beyond the numbers, and want the best for his clan is what keeps us loyal to him. We could not ask for a better King. Harrrroooooo Darrell. And cheers!!

Doctors and Nurses

Wow!!! What a fantastic event!! Lady Skye outdid herself designing, building, and decorating for this event!! What a phenomenal job! DJ Sun was there to spin the tunes and provided us with some great dance songs.  With L$5000 on the board it was a nail biter with all the fabulous costumes. Lorielle won first place with Freya and Val tying for second.  The credit goes to Baron Tar for these photos of the event:

Best in Jungle

Best in Jungle was hosted by Lady Serenity and DJ'd by Knight Sun.  It was a primal, animalistic, steamy experience for all who attended.  Thanks to Cari for decorating and providing a really cool ambiance.  Hope to see you all at the next event!

Quentin Tarantino Event

Lady Lara held the Quentin Tarantino Event on Sunday which was a huge success.  DJ Irish included music and dialog snippets from his movies in her playlist. Some clan members dressed as characters from their favorite Quentin Tarantino movies like Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, From Dusk til Dawn, and Planet Terror.  Thanks to Lara, Cari, and Keith for setting up the platform which included scenery from Pulp Fiction and the above mentioned movies for this fantastic event!
